Unlike the Acer 26", mentioned in a thread lurking around here somewhere, this looks like quite a nice wee Telly. Unfortunately, it suffers as many do at this price level, from specification deficiency!

Contrast is typical and OK. Format at 15:1 is unacceptable. Pixel Response at 25ms is too slow and, yes, it won't be HDTV ready.

However, it is a pretty thing and would probably be a good choice for somebody looking to use it as a PC Monitor/Part Time TV. Good Price.

In theory the lower the better, so 16ms is superior; but I understand there's considerable variation in exactly what is measured so you should not rely on this.

As a matter of interest, what in particular makes this better than the Acer?

Neither are particularly good, as I mentioned in the individual posts, but both are also probably OK for use as second/bedroom TV/PC Monitors.

When I referred to this one being a nice wee Telly I was really refering to its looks! Both are quite similar yet unremarkable performers.
