My local audio store raves about Dynaudio speakers - 1st pass cross-over, larger voice coil, better throw etc. He rates it above B&W 6 series. I do not see much spoken about these speakers; I plan to have a demo of Dynaudio audience 72, audience 42 Vs B&W 603, B&W 601 with REL Stampede on a 5.1 system. Any thoughts about this?

They will walk all over the B&W's, just listen to how much sweeter the treble is.

Im a B&W fan (see sig) but the Audience series are a step up from the B&W 6 series. My local Dealer sells both so Ive had a chance to compare them. Dont ignore the tremendous standmount 52SE instead of the 72 and make sure you hear the 72SE as well as the "cooking" version.
Be advised that Dynaudio are about to launch a new range that will sit between the audience and much-more-expensive contour range.
