DVR-MS To WMV - Where can I find software

Hi,

Does anyone know of any software for Windows Vista (ideally freeware) that will convert a recorded TV file (DVR-MS) to WMV, removing adverts along the way.

Windows Movie Maker supplied with Vista can convert to WMV. Haven't tried it myself yet. I'll give it a go when i can get my son off World of Warcraft.
