I hope I'm posting on the right forum!

Anyway, I have an old Phillips Freeview box, with a top-up tv card. If I buy a Digital Video Recorder (maybe the Fusion FVRT100), will this be compatible with the freeview box, so that I can record from freeview as well as the normal analog channels?

Also, if I get Sky in the future, will the Fusion work like a Sky+ box?

    Thanks in advance!

    Pam

No, the Fusion would replace or supplement your Philips. The Fusion can only record from it's own tuner. So no analogue recording, no recording from the Philips, no recording from a Sky box.

Only TiVo would come close and that no longer made, check out Tivoland.com or EBay. Or get a DVDR with HDD i.e. Panasonic E85. Won't have Sky+ capability though,

Any HDD that doesn't have its own Digital tuner will do. Sony, Toshiba, Pioneer, Panasonic etc
