hi, i would like to connect my pc which has a DVI-I output to the LG RZ-42PX11 plasma, but the more i look at the DVI cables the more confusing its getting as there are sooooo many DVI variants, eg, DVD-I, DVI-D, DVI-HDMI, and so on, do they all do the same job, or can i cock it up if im not carefull ? thanks

DVI-I can carry a digital and analogue signal, DVI-D is digital only. I haven't seen the LG personaly but if you fed it a DVI-D cable from your pc, im sure it'll work. maybe someone with an LG can confirm this

thanks dan, im a bit more forward now :smashin:

also can someone tell me where the DVI socket is on the LG RZ-42PX11, is it on the left, right or in the middle, just measuring up what length i need cheers

It's about 3 or 4 inches to the right of middle (when viewing the screen).
