    I have an AE500 conected to DVD by component , i would like to know how much better % picture quility i would get using DVI

    Depends on your source. Are you considering a HCPC, DVI equipped DVD player or external scaler with DVI?

    HCPC via DVI (1:1 mapped) will yield the biggest improvement but owners with DVD equipped DVD players are also claiming excellent PQ.
