I was planning to use my new samsung syncmaster 172w as a TV and a monitor by connecting two pc's via DVI and a switch box over a 10 foot distance. I've just noticed that my switch box is analogue only. Is there a way to connect both sources and output DVI or will it degrade if it goes anywhere near the switch box? Is there a switch box out there that you can recommend that has two dvi inputs and one dvi output?

    cheers

Last time I looked for a DVI switch, they were about £300. Ouch. Was a couple of years ago though.

I think Geffen (might be spelt differently) and Dr Bott do DVI switches. Pretty sure I've seen then in the CPC catalogue too.

    Cheers, Carl.
