I have a Sony VPL11HT and a HTPC with a nvidia 6600GT with twin DVI outs Situation 1 From the HTPC DVI out I used a DVI to VGA convertor, then a cheap VGA breakout Cable R G B H V straight into the PJ all ok no problem Just bought 10m DVI Cable and have plugged that into the Nvidia, then the DVI cable runs into a DVI out wall plate, I have pushed a DVI to VGA contvertor into the wall plate and then my cheap break out cable and it doesn't work???? Is there any technical reason for this? Thanks Nobber
Hello Andy thanks for the reply Well you could be right its DVI-D cable, which incidentally I bought from you! I thought the more expensive DVi-D cables did both obviously not I wish I was dead! Nobber
