i take it that when the dvi input is sent a signal it dosnt switch to the correct channel (like the other ext 1-3) im using a supra cable from a denon 1910

and does the dvi channel have the ability to store its own picture settings that are seperate from the other channels , i thought i read it on here somewhere

    cheers

    sorry

its a philips 37pf9986 , so as i understand it they dont autoswitch to dvi , but dvi has its own setup

can anyone post their recomendations for dvi

one other point "active control" on or off , seems a bit pointless using the settings posted here when active control seems to overides them to optimize the picture

    many thanks

This is what I have my 37PF9986 set to using DVI-DVI from a Denon 1910.

Sharpness: 3 (some prefer 2) (not applicable at 720p)
    Tint: Normal
Digital Options: Pixel Plus 2 (not applicable at 720p)
    Dynamic Contrast: Minimum
DNR: Minimum (not applicable at 720p)
    Colour Enhancement: On
Active Control: minimum or off if you prefer
