Does anyone know if thier are any sky boxes that have a dvi or vga connection?

What if I imported a US digital satellite receiver ,would that work with sky providing it had a 240v power supply.

    No there aren't.
You could get a version 1 SKY+ which can be modified with a SDI connection though.

There is no such thing as a US model SKY digbox, the basic design is pretty much common in the Dsat receiver market but the encryption and coding are unique to SKY which is why you have to use SKY hardware to watch SKY subscription channels.

    Hi sdv

Starburst is correct. I presume that you are looking to use DVI to get a pure digital video feed out of Sky, SDI gives you that but without any of the encryption/interoperability issues that DVI has.

    regards
