DVI-I to Component

I have a PC with a Nvidia FX5200 Graphics card with an DVI-I output socket.

I cannot get it to play nicely with my TVs HDMI input socket with either a DVI-I or DVI-D to HDMI cable.

Can a DVI to Component cable work instead.

Many thanks
