It looks like it accepts an HDCP protected input and outputs RGB/VGA? http://www.digitalconnection.com/products/video/dcda1.asp (for those wondering what the issue is here, here's a good summary: http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_11_4/feature-dvi-hdmi-hdcp-connections-11-2004.html) Wouldn't something like this be invaluable to us CRT projector users for the Euro1080 HDTV service if it provides video only on HDMI/HDCP digital video outputs? It looks to me like it could also be used to avoid Component to RGB transcoding from HD kit for projectors that take HDTV via RGBHV but not Component. Also giving the freedom to put the converter and it's DAC's right next to the projector with a short VGA analog cable and long DVI cable, could this improve over a good, well shielded 75-ohm BNC cable?
