    Products Wanted:
I have a Panasonic 53" RP HDTV (model PT-53wx53) and have receintly become interested in DVD players that upscale to 720p and 1080i, such as Momitsu v880, Samsung 931 and Bravo, ect...
My set has 850 lines of resoultion and a native resolution of 1080i.
In gathering information I have read that these players provide the best picture on "fixed pixel" sets, like LCD and Plasma. Since I do not fall into this category I have a few questions.

    1. Has anyone set one of these up on a rear projection TV?
    2. Were the results noticably better/equal/worse than with a 480p composite DVD setup on the RPTV?
    3. Should I spend the extra money and get the high-end DVI cable? Do they really make a difference?
    4. Is this even a worth while investment given my monitor?

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
