dvi-d to component

    just a quick Q guys, my gfx card apparently supports upto 720p/1080i, can i use THIS to get the signal from A-B ?

    No.

    You have DVI-D (ie dvd digital) That is for DVI-I (analogue) You need a full on convertor at around £lots to convert dvi-d to component!

    i think i made a slight mistype, my card is dvi-i afaik, specs for it are HERE.

    anyone know if this will output component via above cable?

    after a quick look around, i think i may be ok!

    my card had a lead that splits into component, the basically same card is HERE, mine just has 2 dvi-i outputs. i'm just hoping the component will output at 720p/1080i.......
