I am waiting to receive my new LG L1710B 17" TFT Monitor and would like to know if the DVI cable that I have to get is just an ordinary DVI cable?
If anyone can help in where I can get one and at a good price it would be much appreciated.
    :)

Not sure what you mean by "ordinary".

DVI cables come in two forms, DVI-D which carries just digital signals in which the small lug at one end it on its' own, and DVI-I which in addition carries 4 analog pins surrounding this lug.

If you want to drive the monitor digitally, which is I presume why you're going DVI in the first place, then a DVI-D is all you need.

    HTH.
