Ive just got my hs10 and i wanted to connect my dreamcast up with a vga box and a vga cable to the projecter.
Well the dvi connecter on the cable has four little pins next to the flat one that dont fit in the female socket on the hs10.
Im guessing its a dvi a cable and i wanted a dvi rgb cable is there anyway i can make it work with a converter- conecter or just snaping the four little pins.

You can probable find an adapter (quick search of Farnell didn't turn up anything) or pull the pins. But if you remove them you'll only have Digitial DVI and not analogue which I'm guessing the dreamcast uses.

Think you've got the wrong cable to start with.

The DVI on the projector will only work with DVI-D (Digital) from say a PC with DVI-D graphics card or a DVD player with DVI-D or HDMI with an adaptor.

bought the vga box before i chose the projecter. didn't think the hs10 only had dvd-digital. Never mind.
Is there anyway of converting it using a switch box or something.

Sony do a cable with VGA on one end and the Multicable connector on the other, but you're probably using that socket already. :(
