    Dear All,

My PC has a DVI output only on it's video card. So I have to use a DVI/VGA adaptor.

My projector (Sony VPL CS2) has a VGA input.

Hence currently I use an analogue cable to connect from the PC to the projector.

Would I get a better image quality if I used a digital cable from the DVI output into a DVI/VGA adaptor on the projector?

    TIA

    Mark

    Not really.

All cables pass an anologue signal (fibre optics excepted), so you're no going to improve things unless you're PJ has a DVI input.

Plus, you're limited to a maximum cable length of 2 meters with DVI (I know longer are available, but the're VERY expensive, & can only pass up to a certain resolution at a given length).
