Hi, i'm in the market for a 50" HD plasma that will accept 50Hz, 75Hz or 100Hz vertical refresh rates (without internal conversion) using DVI and a HTPC whilst feeding a resolution to match the displays native resolution (1:1 pixel mapping or very close to).
Are there any plasmas that can offer this at the moment?
    Thanks.

I think the the new Pio MXE1 is about the only model available at the moment that allows various refesh rates via DVI without peforming frame rate conversion.

One downside for HTPC use it that the pixels are not be exactly square due to the slightly odd resolution.

    Cheers, Lee

So then i just want to make absolutely sure before i make a purchase.
    1) Does the Pioneer 50MXE1 accept native resolution of 1280x768 using powerstrip (1:1 pixel mapping) at 50 or 100Hz standard without any fix needed (mentioned in the post 'any news on pio50mxe1 frame rate 50Hz?') using DVI with a HTPC?
    2) Are the non-square pixels as noticeable on the 50"ers compared to the 42"ers?
    Thanks.
