Just bought PAL DVE from Piero who has also advised that I need to do a NTSC set up too if I am to play Region 1 discs with a better calibrated screen. However, I want to understand how you switch between the PAL and NTSC calibrated set ups (do you adjust normal mode to PAL and Cinema to NTSC or vice versa or something else?). I have:

    Pansaonic 50" Viera

    Panasonic SCHT1500 Multiregion.

    Input greatly appreciated!

Anyone got a clever ploy for this or is it a manual switch between normal and cinema each time you use a Region 1 disk as opposed to a Region 2 disc?

Someone else must play multi region dvds!!!!

with normal picture settings on the viera, what ever you adjust for pal will also be the same for NTSC.
If you are doing a pro calibration in the service menu, then an NTSC disc and PAL disc will be benificall.
