I had a disc on order from DVDSoon since January.

But, they finally shipped it a few weeks ago. Apart from their slow suppliers, I've had no problems with these guys, and found some amazing prices to boot. :smashin:

Indeed, dvd soon have some fantastic bargains. Ive been relatively lucky so far, having only waited an extended period of time for 2 dvds.

Fantastic place for cheap dvd's. I just wish they would redesign their site so it didn't look like something a person attending a 'computers for the terrified' course put together. And a better way of searching for films too, as thats terrible n all.

They have Cheers & Frasier season 3 sets to pre-order for approx 41CA$ each - which works out nicely under the £18 limit at the current exchange rate. I've not used them before, but I've ordered one with Standard shipping and the other with First Class to see what the difference in delivery times is.

I must be very lucky then, because everything I have ordered with them has turned up within or on 5 days, no mistakes, no breakings, no customs taxation, no damage.

However I have had one cdwow dvd take over a month to appear, a couple of the wrong dvds sent, and a broken dvd as well.

I still love both though! Better than play who have definately lost their way.

I've never waited more than 2 weeks for a package from DVD Soon; most take a week for shipping to delivery. Recently season 9 of 'The X-Files' shipped May 5th and arrived May 10th - quicker than some UK suppliers - using standard (free) shipping.

I agree. My delayed DVD was out of stock. But their delivery is usually very fast.

Interesting about the customs thing. I'm desperate to get this box set ...

... and it looks like it falls over the £18 limit. But, I'm going to Canada in June/July, so I'll probably just pay retail for it.

I would agree with everything said about DVD Soon. They are nice and cheap, and usually reliable, however, I have now had my second DVD from them go missing, and they make you wait the full 45 working days (9 weeks!!), before they will reship.

Just to second what Simon6776 said - I had a DVD go missing, and after the 46 days, you have to raise what they call an RMA on their website. Then you have to print it and sign it, and either post it back or scan it to an e-mail attachment. I did the latter on May 3rd, and on May 4th, their response was:-

"I thank you for returning your signed affidavit. I will forward it to the returns department so that it may be completed. Once everything has been completed you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Have a nice day!"

No signs of life by May 10th, so I e-mailed them again. The reply this time:-"

"Unfortunately the Department in charge of the replacements has fallen behind in their work. I have placed a request with them to have your RMA reviewed as soon as possible. I apologize for the delay."

Today, still no movement. I've ordered a half-dozen discs at good prices previously with DVD Soon, but I think if one more goes astray, I won't be ordering any more, unfortunately.
