No I think you can wear what you want when you order and you shouldn't be charged for any items of clothing......

To answer your question, yes, that will be hit with a charge if customs get ahold of it (and it's very likely they will since it's from Soon).

According to customs items over £18 have, on average, a 1 in 3 chance of getting hit by charges. Anything over £100 is virtually guaranteed to be charged.

Not much more can be said but due to it being only a few pence over the limit you might get lucky and it will arrive without charges but with DVDSoon, expect the worst.

I was under the impression that you could order goods such as CD's & DVD's up to a value of £36 without incurring customs duty?? I have used www.smokecds.com , play.com and CDWOW for cd's & DVD's and never payed tax under £36 per parcel.

The limit is £18. £36 is the limit for unsolicited gifts (and that doesn't mean something from a company simply marked as a gift -- it has to be a package sent to you without your asking for it).

The reason you don't get hit with Play is because they ship from Jersey and pay the VAT on orders over £18. CD-WOW ship anything over £18 from within the UK, so again, no charges. Never heard of the other company you mention, so I wouldn't know how they do it.
