Just bought to my mind I've been waiting for Bad Santa to be released for ages now! I think I saw a date for it on Play for next month though.

Apart from that probally the re-release of the Toy Storys, Stargate SG-1 season 1,2,7, Battlestar Galactica Season 1 & Mini Series, Harold and Kumar, Band of Brothers.

Loads more I want, I could probally go on forever.

Saw Downfall last night Lionheart - excellent

Hollywood is being left behind by the amount of quality 'foreign' films coming out.

Mundu , make sure you get the region 1 boxset of Battlestar Gallactica because it includes the mini-series, audio commentary for the mini-series & nine other audio commentaries out of the other 13 episodes plus more extras than the region 2  :D

I agree Corkonian..you really feel like you are inside Hitlers Bunker in the last days as it all falls apart, I think the guy playing Hitler really nailed the part. Another great film along the same lines is Das Boot...these kind of films are just miles ahead of the usual Hollywood War flick

    "Downfall" was indeed excellent.

Got the R3 DTS ES version & when the motars hit it almost blew out the windows.

Don't know about watching it Xmas though ?

Perhaps stick it on after "It's a wonderful life".

Oodles of goodies coming in the next few months, but a Top Ten would have to include:

The King Kong Collection (4 disc Collector's Edition)

    War of the Worlds (2005)

War of the Worlds (1953 - new special edition)

The Val Lewton Horror Collection (9 movies)

Lifeboat (the last major Hitchcock title to hit DVD)

Outer Limits: Season One (at last MGM bow to consumer demand and give us a complete season bt season release of the '90s colour series!)

The Tom & Jerry Spotlight Collection Vol 2 (if it is truly uncut this time)

Oklahoma: 50th Anniversary Edition (a decent copy of this film at last - anamorphic print, loads of extras and both versions of the movie!)

The Wizard of Oz (3 disc Collectors' Edition)

The Warner Classic Holiday Collection (3 seasonal B&W classics, but worth the price of admission just for Christmas in Connecticut - one of the greatest Crimbo movies ever!)

    ...and many, many more...
