What's your opinion – do you prefer your DVDs to be loaded with extra features i.e. trailers and documentaries or have all the space available given over to the image and sound quality with no extras (like superbit)? A 3rd option is having a second disc in the pack but that pushes up the price.
I personally prefer image and sound quality over extras.

I like the compromise: I'd happily trade in a little extra picture/sound quality for extras...

However, the extras have to be worth the sacrifice; I don't care about fancy menus, pat-yourself-on-the-back featurettes, pointless trailers or any of that crap. I want independent documentaries, polished deleted scenes worth having, Commentaries without dumbass actors and if it's a DVD-ROM, links to content worth seeing. I prefer the two disc titles, like T2, Seven and Fightclub, top quality movie picture and sound on one disc, decent extras on the other.

If I had to choose one or t'other it would be Sound & image quality. 2 disc sets would be ideal. Having been into Laserdiscs, the extra cost would be insignificant!

This has been much mused over on numerous 'Superbit' threads.

Best quality for me. DVD-18 might be the answer for all of us: 1 side "superbit", the other side extras. Please!?
