Make sure you're connected to the internet BEFORE you launch DVD Profiler as it performs checks on startup. Then try and enter them - when you click the relevant icon, it should automatically start downloading any updates.

If it still fails, update DVD Profiler to version 2.1 (in fact, do this anyway). Then try again.

Silly question but you are entering the EAN into the right box aren't you? I mean, you're not trying to enter the EAN into the DVD title input box? (I've done that before  :D )

yes silly question but I forgive you! :D

I do the automatic updates everytime I open up the profiler, thought it was weird that I couldn't find Die Another Die in there either. It seemed to be skipping everything last night for some reason.

I'll update the software over the weekend.

When I uninstalled Profiler 2.0 - there was about 100MB of files left in the "InterVocative Software", so I deleted the whole dir before installing 2.1, then it downloaded the whole lot (profiles, database, etc etc)

I don't know if it's a patch. I just uninstalled then installed new one.

    Backup your collection beforehand.

That means it's NOT a patch then. By definition, a patch requires a previous version of the software to already be installed. ;)

As far as I remember, all DVD Profilers have been full software installs, not patches - including the last one.

What they DO patch/update however, is your profiler database to accommodate the new features/structures.
