Does anyone use www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk? There's a terribly annoying pop up which has suddenly appeared, and seems to launch each time a page loads. It even gets past my Mozilla pop up stopper, which is one of the best. I was starting to wonder if the site had been hacked!

I have the latest version of firefox (0.9.3) using Adblock and have yet to have a single pop-up or flash get through the armour, dvdpricecheck included. Maybe an update could help you mate...

I've tried Firefox on and off, but I still prefer the complete Mozilla suite, including the integrated e-mail client. Does Adblock in Firefox also block banner ads and flash? I have looked at it, but I thought it might be too intrusive. I could download the plug in for Moz, and give it a try.

If banner ads are the ones that load at the top then no it doesn't but it cetainly gets rid of all flash ads and that in itself is enough to make me smile :)

Yeah, banner ads are the ones at the top on these forums. The ones that load first, then you sometimes have to wait half an hour for your post to appear!
