    Hello everyone

I have heard that some one on here got a HD+ and a XHA40US to map 1 to 1 at 50Hz via DVI can anyone confirm this?

MAW claimed he did. I believe he was confused. It is not possible, imho. You can get an image at that rate but you have to adjust the active picture area so that it's not pixel for pixel and it is in fact around 1280 x720......

    Thanks for that
What is the down side of 1 to 1 at 60Hz i mean what is the issue with this?

What is the benefit of using a scaler to almost 1 to 1 at 50Hz?

1 TO 1 at 60hz means that you need to convert all 50Hz source material to this refresh rate. This adds judder to movement. Of course, this can be done well or badly dependant on the device doing the conversion. Many folk may not even notice it's happening. Most likely way to see it is to look at scrolling ticker tape on news channels. If done well the ticker tape will be ledgible, not smooth in motion but regular in the judder. If done badly the judder will be more random and the text may break up and be illegible.

You can read on my website about what other benefits scalers can bring other than 1:1 mapping. There are quite a few.... look for the article about scalers.

I've no idea....but it would be panel dependant. ie Just because one alis panel may support it doesn't mean they all will

We've never tried with that unit. Fujitsu should be able to tell you if it's a supported res and refresh.
