has anyone used this "tool" for upgrading the tosh110e and how difficult is it? I know the davs500 remote upgrade is simple but a mate wants to try this "tool" on his tosh but is a bit cautious as it means removing the cover and attaching it to the set.
    thanks

what kind of "tool" ? A plug in mod? A Pic chip?

I know that for a few years now a plug in chip has been available for the Pioneer dvd players. But I've never heard of one for a Toshiba.

If the "Tool" is from a specialist then it must have been tested beforehand    But if in doubt, get someone who knows what they're doing to fit it :D

If you've downloaded it then ......:( .. don't do it!!!!
