    opened an account to get Near Dark as they are the cheapest on the net but to get my disc .I HAVE TO FAX THEM MY CREDIT CARD STATMENT. so i email to ask why as i have accounts with play,ezydvd,cd-wow,dvd concept and a.b sound none of those companies reqd cc statment .so i have cancelled account with them BUYERS BEWARE?????????????????:devil:

    But you're right - there was another thread about faxing credit card statements to DVD Box Office though which covered it in detail ... (but I can't find it on the search - it's there somewhere)

    Initially I found this strange, too, but you can blank out the individual transactions if you want to - they just need to see the header including the CC#, bank / CC company name and yours.
    I think you can even email them a scan if you don't have a fax.

    The same btw applies to e.g. www.dvdempire.com which I used to use before (quite some time back though ...).

    That said I haven't had any problems with DVDBoxoffice, I am still using them to my full satisfaction.

    Very odd, I use them loads and have never sent or been asked for anything. Is it a recent thing for new accounts?
