    Hi there!
Just bought the a.m. as one more milestone on my path to audio and video "perfection". I feed the plasma (pioneer 434) via DVI -> HDMI and picture is stunning. My problem: audio lipsync is blown.
Take 'Finding Nemo', chapter 25, when Darla tabs on the tank, and it seems like "eternity" before video follows.
Unfortunatly my AV proc (Kenwood KC-Z1 - 6! yrs. old) doesn't have an audio delay function.
Q: Can the DVD32R do the trick by some hidden codes??? :lease:

    Hi,

a simple no gives the answer to your question. The DVD32R only reads and passes the signal trough. No additional delay or processing is added.

Thanks a lot guys - I was afraid it might be like that!

    AV32R or AV192R - I've been thinking along that line admittedly. :)
It will just have to wait a bit (year end bonus ...) before I can afford yet another "heavy" investment. (patience though is a virtue I lack completely)

After last month's Home Cinema (Aug.) I'm kind of hooked on the idea of having a processor with bal. XLR outputs and active speakers at the end. Lexicon MC-8B and the featured Bryston SP1.7 are candidates as well.
Any opinions/experience with these out there? (I know this is the Tag forum - please don't hate me! :suicide: )

    Cheers,
    Michael
