    Just noticed a strange one.

DVD32FLR connected to plasma via component.

Change volume - and the volume db are shown on screen bottom left. Ok.

I press the centre button - once I get some details of track time etc - press it a second time and I get surround format. Then again and they disappear. Fine. No problem.

But after doing this - I try and change volume again and it doesn't show on screen.

    Can anyone confirm this?

[I don't suppose I'll ever see a fix anyway... but it's irritating!] :thumbsdow

Few of us (I think Theodor was the first one, almost one and a half years ago) reported this bug few times, unfortunately it was never corrected.

I've always noticed it, but never knew there was a way round it, so thanks for bringing it up Tantalus!!

I use the 'THX' button on the remote (in DVD mode) and this forces it back on as it causes a 'not allowed....' message to be displayed. This is better than using the pause and play workaround.

    Regards,

    Steve

Yes Steve, the same here, I also use it as a best workaround button. I think it was Paul who wrote it on old forum first. Or it was you, (can't remember anymore). I know only Tedy was the first one to report the bug.
