Does anyone know what the 2.4x speed advertised by, say, the new Sony multi-format DVD writer equates to ? It would be useful to know what this equates to when comparing with CDRW speeds.

Each write speed on a CDR is 150k/s more, writing software usually tells you the data transfer rate. So find out what transfer rate the DVD is using and get yer calculator out.

Why do programmers confuse christmas and halloween?

Because 25 DEC is the same as 31 OCT.

Did you know there are only 10 types of people in the world?
Those that can read binary and those that can't.
