    Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of the LG GSA 4120B DVD writer? I am looking to buy one as the reviews are pretty good.

Also, does anyone know of a better writer that bundles with decent video editing software?

    I have ULEAD v5

    Nero 5.5

But I want do be able to transfer my mini dv tapes onto DV and encode them with MPEG so the qaulity is better, I don't think the above does that.

Also, do I really need a DVD manual? The LG website doesn't show one.

    Thanks

Dont know anything about the LG drive you mention but software wise i use Pinnacle Studio 9, does everything i need it to do, and is quite simple to use as well.

And no you shouldn't need a manual.
