Have connected my DVD/HDD recorder via S-Video cable to the Denon 2307 amp (waiting on a component cable to arrive).

However I cannot get it to to display on the screen (though I can get the sound).

    Help

Have you run an s-video cable to your screen from the monitor output or enabled the correct upconversion if you're using component or HDMI?

S-video in to the AMP (along with 1 x HDMI, 2 x componment), and just the one HDMI cable up to the TV.

Optical and coaxial cables from inputs to the amp for sound.

I think that I have obviously not enabled the correct upconversion for the S-video input - any suggetions on how to do this?

    Gone into the system menu.

Oddly the DVD can be seen behind the white text.

If I go to menu system I can assign HDMI and Component inputs to various funcntions on the AMP, but I cannot seem to select S-Video inputs.

If I got to Video Convert Menu I can turn it on/off under DVD/TV/VCR-1/VCR-2/V.Aux. Its on for all off them.

HDMI out setup - Analog to HDMI Convert is ON.

    HELP

    The manual is rather confusing...

Gave up in the end and bought a component cable.
