Does anyone have a DVD/VCR combi?

I was looking at models from Sony/Panasonic/JVC/Toshiba.

    Any comments/advice?

Got the JVC (about a year or so ago).

I've had no problems, the DVD is adequate and the VCR is good. VCR has all the toys such as PDC/VideoPlus etc.

    Cheers

The LG combi aint all that. It has not got SVid out. It looks nice thats for sure but the picture quality is reflected in the price.

I bought it from Argos and returned it same day.

I would recommend getting seperate Video and DVD. I have tried the combis and while its less wires but should one unit break down you are hardly going to want to use the other unit with half of it working and end up chucking it away. So you loose money on both instead of one.
