Does you tv have a video input signal socket on the back of the TV if so use that and any audeo inputs.
If not send the signal from the DVD player to your video either using the scart on it, or through the video/audio inputs. Tell the video to use that as the source and tell the TV to use the video as the source.

I have just checked the last method out and it works OK for me.
Will you let me know how you go on?

Unless youve got the macrovision unloked on your DVD player I dont think the second option will work.

Garret is your player Macro unlocked.

No the only thing the DVD players has a remote hack for region free and as I say I went and tried it with my X-Men 1.5 just in case of macro vision barring not unless the disc has no macro vision. Oh and I did not use the scart but the line input
As CooperUK says sounds like new TV time if it has no scart it strongly looks like no flat screen or W/S.
