I bet if a lot of the members decide to take up this offer the it wont be called "DVD SOON" more like "DVD SOMETIME IN THE NEAR FUTURE"

It would be good if play had a members card, they money I have spent with them. I remember when music zone first opened you could apply for a gold card £20 1 off fee and you got 10% off everything you purchased at that time I did not think I would be buying many DVD's but I was way wrong

I am going to ask a few questions that millions have asked before me ! So I apologize now.

Do dvdsoon accept boring Barclaycard ? Do UK CC companies charge you for purchasing from overseas websites ? And do dvdsoon go through a tedious credit checking (photocopies etc) ? Yes and no would suffice...thanks

The dvd's are stored in a warehouse, and need to be picked, the warehouse employees find the dvd and attach the picking note to the dvd using an elastic band, the dvd is then sent onto the packing department for shipping, the packing department are so busy delaying my Metallica dvd, they remove the internal picking note but leave the elastic band because its too much effort to remove it .

Yes, they accept all visa and mastercard variants.

Barclaycard show separately on the statement their commission for the transaction.

And your credit card issuer will usually charge a fee (commonly 2.75%) for handling overseas transactions, there are a few that don't though (Nationwide) so switch cards if you are going to be ordering from the states regular.

Another great spot  . Only problem is I just went in to cancel all my pending orders and only 3 out of 10 of my orders that I placed yesterday were still the same price. All the rest had gone up by around 10%. So even with the additional 6% off they were still cheaper yesterday.

Although I've only been ordering from them for about 3 weeks I actually think they are much quicker than I was expecting. Apart from those that are on order or preorder I have received all DVDs ordered within two weeks from placing them and within 4 days from them being shipped. Guess it's a slippery slope from here then ;)

Thing is, Soon have put the price up of most things to compensate for this new offer. Still some great deals to be found though.

Badder Santa was the only one that went down for me, by just under $1.

I've been using my Barclaycard happily since I started using DVDSoon (I only have 1 credit card) - that was back in 2002.

I gained about $6 credit by cancelling and re-ordering West Wing season 4, Orgazmo special edition and Scrubs season 1. Used this to make I Heart Huckabees SE a bit more affordable.

Another completely random huge price increase... happened a few days ago as well. Angel season 5 is up to $79.99... better come back down before the 20% off ends.

Many of the DVD's I was looking at have gone up on average $6.00 & are still up there. :(

Hope the prices come back down again soon, looks like I won't be ordering for a while now.
