    Hi

    This is not a DVDSOON PSP QUESTION but a DVD SOON - UMD Movie question! I ordered HellBoy on UMD for 15.98CAD (about £7) on 15th April - GOOD PRICE! :clap:

    But now I can't tell wether the item is in stock or not, and if or when it will ship! It states peding and when I drill down further it states on ORDER? Is this movie out yet, are DVD Soon always this slow? How can I tell what is and is not in stock?

    Cheers

    M

    dvdsoon seem to be operating a stockless shop
    my guess is when they have orders for 100 units,
    they order and get a nice big discount. Less than 100 orders and the customer waits, and waits, and ................
    In the mean time they are earning interest on all the money they have taken for goods they haven't purchased. Nice little earner there.

    I saw a mid May date for all their UMD's when I looked yesterday. Perhaps the launch of the first UMD's have been pushed back til then!? :confused:

    Nope - definitely out already!!

    I've already received from Soon (over a week ago, now);
    Hellboy
    Once Upon A Time In Mexico
    XXX

    but still have on order;
    Charlie's Angels
    Resident Evil: Apocalypse

    Not sure what the delay is for you guys, but Hellboy is most definitely out, and Soon have shipped copies!! Sorry!

    Of course you can !!!

    Although you may have to wait for my answer - I've just tried logging on to the Soon site and I'm just getting a blank screen?! It would have been after Feb. 14th, because that was the date I placed the order for my PSP, but I couldn't say with any certainty how far after that date it was...

    I'll keep checking back on the site and when I can get back on, will post the dates of when I ordered :hiya: !

    I was lucky, actually!

    I managed to get a lot of my orders in when Soon were still accepting the discount voucher ASWELL as the Fidelity card discout - ie. a total of 22% off!! This meant, with the exchange rate at the time, that the UMDs cost me about £6 each, including delivery from Canada!!

    When you look at the price these things can fetch on ebay, then yes, I was a lucky one!!

    As promised, now that Soon's site is back up, I've checked the order dates for the UMDs that I've received...

    All 3 (Hellboy, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, XXX) were ordered 25th Feb, and I received them (I guess) 10-14 days ago. I remember that I pre-ordered them pretty much as soon as they appeared on the site, as I was checking every hour at the time for the PSP games that were continually being added!! So although I've received 3, I must have literally been one of the first to pre-order them.

    If it's any consolation, I ordered Ridge Racer for my brother's PSP about 2 weeks ago - and it's still showing as 'On Order'...

    I got Hellboy and Once upon a time in Mexico UMD movies from DVDsoon for £5 each shipped with discounts. They were delivered within 5 days of release.
    I did order them the day they were available on the site.
