What is dvd soons policy for items lost in transit with the free shipping option
In principle the same as with all other shipping options offered, and is explained on their website.
you have to wait 55 business days before they'll send replacements. 11 weeks ! ouch!
but once this has passed they're quick to repsond tho.
Yeah, I have one missing at the moment. The e-mail they replied to me with stated 45 business days before it could be declared lost.
Were your discs dispatched during the postal disputes in London?
I've also got a couple of outstanding discs that were dispatched on the 29th & 30th of October.
Maybe they're all in a big pile at Mount Pleasant
My T3 was posted October 31st, and arrived November 8th.
When did the lefties go on strike?
mine was posted on the 30th still waiting
i had finding nemo posted from dvd soon on the 30th,still waiting also....
T3 Arrived this morning along with tomb raider which was posted on the 5th oct
Thats not long though really with the postal strike happening. Ive just had all mine turn up today that were posted on the 15th. Nemo arrived before these and was posted much later.
I received my Nemo today which was originally posted on 27/10/03....maybe this is a sign of the backlog shifting!!
Still not had a reply to my email from DVD Soon which i sent last week!!!
Still.....after paying £11 for 2 disc Nemo, i don't mind waiting an extra couple of weeks!!!!
If anyone's still waiting for a disc from DVDSoon don't give up hope.
My Terminator 3 disc, dispatched on October 30 arrived today
My 4 disc Two Towers arrived today.....6 days after posting which is great for dvdsoon......
But had to give it to my folks this morning as its a Chrimbo present...
Received email notification from DVDSoon that The Two Towers had been shipped on 17.11.03 and received it today So if something does go missing, don't worry too much.
My TTT arrived on Wednesday but the box is crushed and a lot of the plastic inside has cracked and broken off.
Is this common with DVD-Soon stuff or it worth me having a word with my postie. I have had a few box sets from them and they all have some form of damage (except Indy Box Set s it was iside another box).
Also, does anyone know what their returns policy is for goods damaged in the post.
Separate names with a comma.
