Used them a lot over the last month and usually get them within a week.

Although my Indiana Jones boxset has been packing for 7 days

DVDSoon list the item on the outside of the packaging, but regardless of actual purchase price, list the value at 12 CAD. (Even the 20 disk Upstairs Downstairs box set which cost me nearly 300 CAD, and it really is a box).

Received Matrix Reloaded on Friday from them @ about £12 and my Indy boxset has been posted @ 57 CAD.

These were the pre-order prices and will be higher now.

    Cheers

    Mark

Indy is still only $CAD 61 - ordered it yesterday. tend to be my supplier of choice for R1 stuff, especially as I'm not one to worry about French writing on covers

I rarely use anyone else for R1 now.
Don't know for how long marking everything as worth ~£5 is going to fool UK C&E though - hopefully ages. Let's hope no Customs people read this forum!

Has anyone had delays in recieving their orders? I had "Leon" posted on 26/9 and it still hasn't arrived. DVD Soon say it is because of the 24 hour postal strike in London last week and to contact them if it hasn't arrived by 1ST DECEMBER !!!

yeah but even if they open it they won't know the actual price of the DVD, unless they check dvdsoons site, which I doubt.

yep...bizarre - my copy of Italian job R1 was allegedly sent on 26 September and still no show. DVDsoon said they won't do anything about it until 45 days have elapsed. I honestly thought it had got lost in the post. I assume if this does happen and you bought the goods with a credit card, then you'll be covered 'insurance-wise'...anybody know anything different????

My copy of Halloween 25th Anniversary Edition was sent on 26th September and hasn't arrived yet either. I've bought many dvd's from DVD Soon and this is the first time that I've experienced a delay in shipping.

I'm beginning to wonder if the printing of the disc title on the customs declaration is proving too tempting for light fingered members of the post office.

    I'm still awaiting

Two Towers - posted in August!
Sleeping Beauty - posted 1 September
Lion King - posted last week in september

Disney titles and LOTR - very desirable titles...

My experiences with DVDSoon have all been good. In fact, \I have to ask the question: why does anyone still use Movietyme, Play etc when a company this good exists?

I've seen someone in another thread (Finding Nemo - Good) saying how it's worth £20 of anyone's money. You can get it for around half that price from DVDSoon. I've seen movietyme advertising the Lion King boxset for (I think) around £40 - £18 odds from DVDSoon.

My copy of Halloween arrived today, nearly a month later! I'll still continue to use DVD Soon as I'm sure this was just a one off due to the postal strike.

Weird...I got my copy of Italian Job at long last and got a different extreme sports one (don't ask) that I ordered about a week ago - so that one was real quick. Seems like a one off delivery problem to me...although I did email them about the potential security risk of printing the DVD title on the packaging (although I'm sure they've consciously made a decision to do this knowing the risks). I'll continue to use them no question....

Just read a few more posts - dvdsoon do seem to have more 'issues' with their site compared to play or cd-wow but I know who I'd prefer to persevere with....play seem well expensive on most stuff now.
