    Need some Help

I'am I right when you place a Order with DVD Soon you need to spend over 120.00 Cad Dollars to get Free delivery on your Order to the UK ? ? ,
If you don't spend over that you have to pay for P+P for each disc you order ,
Also when you order about 6 disc's will they hold your order untill all the disc's are in stock , or will they send them out as and when they are in stock ? ? ,

So my First Order with DVD Soon is riding on all your Replys ,

    Thanks for now

It is possible that someone here will know. but you are more likely to get the answer you need if you contact them directly. ;)

You are correct spending CAD$ 120 will get you free delivery to the UK (about £50 ish).

When you checkout you get the option of having the disks sent as they come into stock - you pay an additional CAD $ 1.60 (about 66 pence) per disk.

dont spend more than CAD $ 300 though - as this gets upgraded to fed-ex and you will get hit by customs for sure

If at checkout time there are four or more disks despatched you will get a dollar per disk placed back into your account to be discounted against future orders.

I have a CAD $126 order in transit at the moment

    Thanks for the reply ,

Just one thing you say you have a Order in Transit for about
CAD $126 , has that all been sent as one Order .
If so Customs will stop that Order and you will end up Paying
    Vat & Duty ? ? ,

Please could you yust confirm this :rotfl:

Once againf Thanks for all your Help

I'll let you know when it arrives next week

fed-ex will almost certainly charge customs. its being sent normal post, so may get thorugh depending how DVD soon have marked the box up.

I have another CAD $121 order already placed awaiting despatch once some pre-order disks come into stock. This may get changed to individual shipping if this one gets stopped.

DVDSoon declare package value at 12CAD per title.

I had a 320 CAD parcel sent to me before christmas which qualified for the free FedEx delivery, but good old DVDSoon put the value on the package as 24CAD (and obviously told FedEx the same) so I didn't get hit for duty.

If your wondering why 24CD, its two titles, a 290 CAD boxset and a single disc.

got charged £5.09 VAT and £3.85 consignia charge = £8.94 (£1.49 extra per disc)

except the muppet postman never asked for any money!!!!

so is that it or will the PO come back and haunt me?

well I'll see if I can switch it. I may have to cancel the order and then re-order.

it'll cost me 66p per disc to do that - or do I risk £1.50 a disk?

    descisions descisions

Well if it was me I would take a risk and leave it all
    as one delivery :rotfl:

But if the order contains Pre-Orders then I would change
the order to send out the ones in stock ,

Pot Luck with Customs I Think ,
Let me know what you do with your order :suicide:

Not surprised you got hit with customs.

    12 x 6 = 72

and 72CAD is roughly £30 which takes you way over the £18 limit.

I wasn't too bothered - I did factor it into the price comparison and it was still reasonable compared to play et al.

donnie dark worked out at £4.92, adding the customs charge it was still less than £6.50

but seeing as postman pat never collected - less than a fiver is even better:D

actually just looking at my order in excel it came to £52.57, but my VISA was hit for £50.?? so its even cheaper:clap:

Depends on the exchange rate on the particular day that your card was billed.

I agree, but its not usually in your favour. woo hoo indeed

    Donnie Darko £4.78 delivered
    Xmen 1.5 £9.16 delivered
    Stargate Ultimate £7.17 delivered

    according to my CC statement.

now thats cheap - I can stand £1.49 on top of that IF I get customisied:laugh:

It was easy to sign up online - and I also specified my work address for delivery - even better.
