    Ive got:

Sony FQ75 TV (3 scarts, only 1 RGB capable)
Sony 760 digibox (2 scart, only 1 RGB capable)
Sony NS405 DVD (1 Scart - RGB capable)

Can anyone tell me how I can get RGB from Sat & DVD when the TV has only 1 RGB scart and the Sat does not have RGB passthrough) ??

More suggestions to get this working the better?:(

The sat should have RGB pass through, have you tried it? It takes RGB in but not RGB out on the second socket.

    Cheers that worked fine.

DVD plugged to Sat (non RGB out scart)
    Sat (RGB Scart) to TV.

The DVD is macro disabled so I can record region 2.

Whats the best way to add a video to this combo..Sony 810 (2 scarts). To allow recording from Sat and DVD??

That's not quite so easy! The Video won't support RGB, only composite.

You could maybe try a scart splitter or a scart switch. The switch I've got says it will record between the devices connected. Either that or a Scart breakout adaptor that has a scart plug and socket in a scart sized box. It will have stereo left and right and a composite out set of fly leads (phono).

    Cheers for the reply.

I've got this all connected and working & recording.

    Sat > TV (AV1, RGB)
Video > TV (AV2, comp) needs to be Av2 due to Sony Smartlink Stuff.
    DVD > TV (AV3, S-Video)
Sat > Video (for direct Sat recording)

On TV, now that I have video connected to AV2 i have an option called 'AV2 out' which will allow me to select source to record from e.g. TV (Ariel) AV1, AV3 etc.

On the TV there is a split screen funtion which allows you to have 2 inputs running at once e.g. Sat (AV1) & DVD (AV3). I compared Sat (RGB) with DVD(S-Video) and must admit there is virtually nothing in it, S-Video looks just as good - if not more vibrant. I had a bad impression of the quality of the output of S-Video, but thats changed now and would recommend trying it.
