DVD-RW, iMac and Arcam

Does anyone know exactly which brand of DVD-RW will work with an iMac superdrive?

I wish to burn some Quicktime footage as well as some slideshows then play the disk on my Arcam player. Unfortunately the iMac keeps rejecting my brand new TDK DVD-RWs.

It must be the brand because the iMac superdrive is definitely built to be compatible with DVD-RWs.

Thanks in advance.

Well the iMac DVD-R driver is a Pioneer A04/A05 depending on the exact model/age. Have a look at www.dvdrhelp.com, in the media section. They list peoples experience with different media on different burners. Personally I find pretty much anything works on my A04, and Pioneer standalone, including 80p princos, but the best cheapish media to get is anything using Ritek dyes.
