    hello

im wondering why dvd rental copys of dvds go for more than original copys of dvds what u find in-store? do they use higher transfer rate or something? just looking on ebay and see that they are going for more than just standard dvds, as i have a rental copy of my little eye and wanting to sell it but wondering as its a rental copy would it be able to catch moren than the standard one would?

    thanks

You can never tell with the eegits on Ebay. Put rare in the title and some muppet will be top dollar for it!

I can't see why a rental would go for more, perhaps they think it's rarer so more valuable. But as for quality, don't some rentals have less extras and poorer picture/sound quality than the proper retail? (although most are identical)

Do some have ads for other films on them?

alot of rentals do tend to just have the film on them and no extras unlike the retail version of the same film.

rental copies also tend to have rental copy stamped across the top of the cover and on the disc. if i buy a dvd on ebay i email them to confirm it not a rental copy, if it is i wont touch it.
