    Hi all

I'm about to purchase my first DVD recorder. I have the choice of:

    Panasonic DM-RE55
    JVC DR-M10SL
    Panasonic DM-RE85

My first choice is to go with the cheapest option the Pana E55 but I have read that i need an RGB input to record from Sky+! Is this true? Maybe this is for the best recorded picture!

    Thanks
    S

The Panasonic E55 has an RGB input. Most DVD recorders do these days - the noteable exceptions being the legacy JVC models (such as the one listed).

Have a read of the 'Which DVD Recorder?' link in my signature for guidance on DVD recorder purchase - especially the pros and cons of getting a model with a HDD in (even though you have Sky+)!
