Could anyone tell me which (if any) DVD Recorders are made in the UK as I would like to buy one, and I try to 'buy british' whenever I can.
Thanks

I would have thought almost no chance. Possibly designed here, but to find one manufactured or assembled here is extremely unlikely. The vast majority are made in Taiwan, and these days also China.

If you look for the one with teak panelling and a headphone socket from a Lancaster bomber that will probably be ours... :)

You may find DVD recorders made in Hungary or other countries in Eastern Europe, that's the closest you'll get unless you're a millionaire. ;)

Unlikely to be made here due to the labour costs.

Panasonic are to discontinue digital TV set manufacturing in their Cardiff plant later this year - moving to the Czech republic I believe.
