I have an OLD VHS machine that has manual control of audio levels. I bought a cheap DVD recorder a while back, but now I'm moving mouse and as I'm getting some high end audio I want a DVD recorder that has manual control of audio levels.
I get a little tired of machines with an audio level that's preset, or worse, one that adjusts the sensitivity automatically. I know Philips in the early days of DVDR did a high end machine with audio input level control, but it seems these days everyone wants cheap machines like the cyberlink 1600 in ASDA for less than £70. Any ideas, or is this only available on 'industrial' recorders?
