My daughter has just been changed from NTL to Virgin. She had a Technosonic DVD Recorder which worked just fine with NTL. Unfortunately it has now packed up and is looking for a new (but inexpensive) recorder that will work with Virgin set-up. Any ideas please?

    Shouldn't ANY DVD recorder work?
You just have to make sure that the recorder has an output that the Virgin box accepts, like HDMI or just standard RGB scart.

Has she also thought about the V+ box. 3 Tuners, so you can record two programs while watching a third. 160GB HD space too. It costs £15 a month plus installation fee (£10 if you have the XL programme package).
