DVD Recorder Newbie

Hi, I'm looking to archive stuff off Sky+ primarily and have looked at the HS2 (which seems to get great reviews). Does anyone have a view on this bit of kit, or perhaps could recommend an alternative?

Well as I dug them up for another thread here are links to the reviews for the Panasonic HS2, it's newer (more expensive) model the E100 and the Toshiba RX30 alternative. There is also the option of the Pioneer 5100. IMHO both Toshiba and Pioneer models are second to the Panasonic ones at the moment as they lack RGB in and thus cannot make best quality recordings from Sky. However it is mooted by some members that on some CRT TVs you won't notice a difference. I beg to differ - so read the reviews, look through some existing threads on this board and come back with any questions you may have and I will endeavour to answer!
