this is a two part post
firstly i have just read issue 290 of What Video and Widescreen featuring a DVD recorder test. Amazingly three out of the four m/c's have no RGB on the input scart, what a gobsmacking omission. What on earth is the point of a digital recorder if you can't feed it with a decent source(some had S-video though). Also they all had analogue tuners, do these manufacturers think we are stupid or are they being leaned on by the movie people? So a warning to potential recorder buyers, check it will record RGB from an external source.

second part of post, is the Panny dmr-e75v multi-region?

If you read through numerous posts a lot of people want to use Sky personal planner, which does not support RGB. So while I agree (and I use RGB on my TiVo, E85 and DVDR 70). For the average Joe soap it probably won't be an issue, unfortunately.

Only if you buy it specifically as MR.
