DVD Recorder Dilemma

Hi all,

I currently own a Samsung HD850 wired up to a Toshiba 37WLT66.

Due to space requirements I want to replace my Samsung with a DVD Recorder.

I have narrowed the choice down between a Panasonic DMR-EZ25EB-S and a Samsung DVD-R145. I know that the Panasonic has a Freeview Tuner but no DivX playback and the Samsung DVD-R145 has DivX playback but no Freeview Tuner (not really bothered about Freeview as the Tosh already has this). Both can do Timeslip recording via DVD-Ram and have HDMI output with upscaling (I am impressed with the DVD playback of my current Samsung so I'm pretty sure the DVD-R145 should be just as good). I can find plenty of reviews on the Panasonic but nothing on the Samsung.

I would really appreciate anybody's opinion / comments as to which is the best DVD Recorder out of these 2 or if there is anything better on the market with HDMI (My absolute top budget is £220).

Many Thanks as I'm getting really confused as to what to go for
